Contact Page Since you are here reading this stuff I'll bet you are a music lover. Your probably a pretty fair musician too. God has blessed us all with various talents. Some have been blessed with the ablilty to play an instrument like they were born with it in their hands. I'm not one of those people. I play a little guitar and a little mandolin--not very well. For years I thought that I would sound better and play better with a better instrument.  The budget never really allowed for a top quality instrument so I got interested in building one. My logic at the time was to save a pile of money by building an F-style mandolin myself. The process of building my first instrument took about four months. During those months four things became crystal  clear to me. One, I'll never ever play the mandolin like Emory Lester or Chris Thile. Two, I wasn't going to save one nickel by building my own instrument. Three, I love to work with wood and the whole process of making an instrument. Four, you can actually build a better instrument than you can buy. Like I mentioned earlier, God has blessed us all with a talent. Some are blessed with ability to make beautiful music but, God has blessed me with wood. I love the stuff! For the past few years,(since 2001), I have been building various instruments and expanding my shop. Luthiery is an addiction. The more you build the more you want to build. Here's the catch, you can only store so many instruments in your house before you start to trip over them.  My beautiful and observant wife suggested I start selling them and then I can build even more. You know, she's right!  So for the past couple years I have been building mandolins, guitars and other instruments on a custom order basis. It's been great fun and with some recent additions to my shop I'm ready to take on more. Thanks for looking around the website. If you'd like to discuss the instrument you're dreaming of or just ask a few questions feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail.
     All the best,
